4/12/2021 Different Types Of MassageMASSAGE TYPES:
DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE (Deeper Pressure To Loosen Up Muscle Tightness): (For Regular Hard, Stiff or Sore Muscles in the Upper Back/Neck/Shoulder areas. This is generally due to sitting at a desk all day which causes slouching in the chair due to poor lower back support (and not keeping the back straight at all times). This causes the the upper and lower back/ & shoulder/neck muscles to get stiff and tight allowing for that sore back feeling. Hunching over a desk for hours is also bad posture and curves the back bone vertebrae/spinal cord causing pressure and pain. Looking down at a keyboard frequently stiffens the neck/shoulder muscle areas as well, so it would be best to switch to a standing desk or a Varidesk type product. While driving hold the bottom of the steering wheel instead of the top to avoid raising your arms and shoulders causing them to get tight. Men should keep their wallets in the front pocket instead of sitting on it for hours or while driving which will cause hip and leg alignment issues as well as blood flow issues in the leg+pelvis which can cause, ED and Sciatica (pain in the legs from tight muscles causing poor blood circulation can cause varicose veins). SWEDISH RELAXATION MASSAGE (Medium Pressure Not Deep): (A medium pressure relaxation massage for those who do not want any deep pressure at all. If you do have tight muscles and need deeper work to loosen up your tighter muscles where you feel pain then ask for the Deep Tissue massage which will give you more pain relief. Swedish will not be strong enough for major pain relief. If you do not have muscle pain then Swedish is fine.) TMJ JOINT MASSAGE (Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction)- When the Jaw Joint in the face/head is out of place due to whiplash or physical trauma put on the jaw due to getting punched in the face, a sports injury to the head, falling on the head or a really bad overbite/misalignment of the top teeth and bottom teeth can cause jaw joint issues over the years which cause tightness of the facial and neck muscles and can cause regular headaches and tension in the head and face while chewing food and prolonged talking which may cause you to limit these actions unconsciously over time and cause regular moodiness. Tridgemimal Neuraligia Massage for the face and Craniosacral Massage also fall under this category and loosens up those facial/neck muscles which gives relief from painful or limiting functions to relieve pressure. The TMJ massage will spend 30 min of your session on the loosening up the face and neck muscles and the remaining time on the back and legs. NEUROMUSCULAR TRIGGER POINT MASSAGE: A neuromuscular massage targets the neurological system and the muscles related to it, addressing trigger points on the body that affect mood and neurological function. SKIN EXFOLIATING MASSAGE: (Using a Salt Scrub mixture to rub and exfoliate away dry/dead skin during your Swedish massage, then using hot towels afterwards leaving your skin baby soft.) HAIR GROWTH FOLLICLE MASSAGE TREATMENT & FOREHEAD WRINKLE REDUCTION TREATMENT: This Massage Treatment uses a specialized hand held massage device against the scalp which gently rotates the blood circulation in the hair follicles stimulating blood flow and possible hair growth over time. Multiple sessions are suggested for those with years of hair loss but not required. This treatment is great for possible reduction of future hair loss if done regularly. This scalp treatment is also great for reducing stress, wrinkles on the forehead caused by stress and eliminates headaches) |
