This is generally due to sitting at a desk all day which causes slouching in the chair due to poor lower back support (and not keeping the back straight at all times). This causes the the upper and lower back/ & shoulder/neck muscles to get stiff and tight allowing for that sore back feeling. Hunching over a desk for hours is also bad posture and curves the back bone vertebrae/spinal cord causing pressure and pain. Looking down at a keyboard frequently stiffens the neck/shoulder muscle areas as well, so it would be best to keep the keyboard as close to your eye level without having the raise your elbows to type (elbows have to remain down at all times). While driving hold the bottom of the steering wheel instead of the top since that makes you raise your shoulders up causing them to get tight and sore. Men keep your wallets in your front pocket at all times because sitting on it for hours or while driving in your back pocket will cause hip and leg alignment issues as well as blood flow issues in the leg+pelvis which can cause sciatica (regular pain in the legs and can cause varicose veins) Stretching the legs and the over all body when you start feeling tight on a weekly basis will prevent the muscles from getting tight and painful.
